___Track cycling is inseparable from Brno and has a hundred-year-long tradition here — represented especially by cycling team TJ Favorit Brno (named after famous Czechoslovakia bicycle manufacturer) and by Jiří Daler, Czechoslovakia track cyclist and winner of Olympic gold medal in Tokyo 1964.Velodrome with concrete surface was built in 1969 near the iconic Brno exhibition grounds and at the moment it's used by the gang of track sprinters of Dukla Brno Sprint. The Velodrome hosted UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 1969 and 1981.
